Jennifer Greenland

Jennifer studied painting at The Art Academy in London from 2010 to 2012. Since that time she has continued her practise primarily painting landscapes in oils.
Jennifer likes to work from life as much as possible, aiming to capture a feeling of the moment as well as a recognisable representation of a place.

Jennifer likes to explore an area by creating series of paintings based on a journey. Over the last few years she has travelled the Thames path from the source to estuary, The Jurassic Coastline, from Exmouth to Studland Bay, The Pilgrims Way, from London to Canterbury, and The River Wey Navigations from Godalming to Weybridge.
These journey projects enable Jennifer to explore not only the feel and appearance of a place through paint, but also its geography, history and purpose, as well as its connection with the land around it, through the medium of writing.

As well as undertaking independent projects, Jennifer is represented by several galleries across the UK.
She is happy to undertake landscape commissions.
